Over the last two weeks we have had the pleasure of welcoming students who are currently in Year 6 to Churchill Community College for our Open Evenings. Both evenings have been an incredible success and we are so proud of our college community.
Guests had the opportunity to hear from David Baldwin, Executive Headteacher and Jill Huxtable our Head of School, tour the college and see a range of curriculum areas with our students who acted as tour guides and to have dinner with us and sample our school meal service.
Our guests said:-
“Enjoyed the talk at the beginning which was very clear and sincere. Lots of fun activities throughout the whole evening. Our guides were very helpful and kids around school talkative and proud of their school. A very good impression and nice food.”
“Very positive first impression. The guides we spoke to seem to really enjoy the school.”
“How all the staff and students were so committed to their theme”
We are running two Open Day events for parents/carers to visit Churchill.
