The Careers, Information, Advice & Guidance (CEIAG) programme is at the heart of what we do and who we are at Churchill Community College.

We aim to support, enable and empower students, staff and parents/carers around CEIAG in order to maximise the potential of our students.

We were proud to have been part of the Gatsby Benchmarks pilot and currently meet all 8 of the 8 Gatsby Benchmarks. We also hold a quality award for IAG (Inspiring IAG).

Throughout the school year, we provide a wide range of activities across the spectrum of business and further education sectors. These events are aimed at stimulating and engaging students; so far this year we have:

  • Involved over 800 students
  • Provided access to over 70 separate events
  • Resulting in over 2,400 activities

Examples of some our activities below:

  • Career Speed Dating*
  •  Project Apprenticeship
  • Career Zone
  • Parent Business Safari
  • Building My Skills
  • World of Work
  • Mock Interview…
