Churchill Community Colleges annual Sports Award Evening took place at the Village Hotel on Monday 9th May 2011.
The guest of honour was Mr Joe Joyce - Newcastle United Academy Manager, who gave an opening speech then presented the trophies to all the winners. It was a great honour for the school that Joe attended, and we are extremely grateful that Joe found time in his busy schedule to fit us in.
Apart from the presentations and speeches we had live displays from our students and the Brazilian Skills Soccer School and Howdon Boxing Academy, so parents and staff were entertained by so truly fantastic routines.
Apart from the team awards, players player and manager awards, there were 4 majors awards. Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 personalityt of the Year, as well as Outstanding Contribution to School Sports award:
