Learning at Home
When students are having to self isolate or college is closed to their year group, they will continue their learning at home.
When students are having to self isolate or college is closed to their year group, they will continue their learning at home.
When we know that students will be working from home for a period of time, they will bring their work booklets home with them. When this happens suddenly we will either post or deliver these. These may take a few days to get to the student but a digital copy will be posted on their Google Classroom and they can work on paper until they arrive.
All the materials (lesson slides, instruction videos, quizzes etc) will be posted on their Google Classrooms. If students experience problems logging in to access their work they can get a password reset at tech.support@churchillcc.org
This work will either be in their ‘To Do’ list or in the Classwork Tab in their individual subject Google Classrooms.
When students are self isolating they may be a day behind with their lessons. If they are waiting for work to be posted or need further work to do, each of their virtual classrooms has some additional learning activities. You can also refer to our general recommendations which are listed in the documents below.
If you have any questions about learning at home please contact your child’s learning coordinator.
