‘Keep Doing Good – One Million Hours of Doing Good’ – YEAR 11 OPPORTUNITY
Year 11 have the opportunity to ‘Keep Doing Good’ with us this Summer, as part of our hope to pledge one million hours of doing good over July and August. This will entail young people pledging some of their time over July and August to help the local community get back on its feet. This might mean helping out in a charity shop on a Saturday afternoon, or planning and delivering a social action project that will bring about a positive change or impact in the local area. Of course, the safety and wellbeing of young people and staff has been top priority in planning, and all Keep Doing Good programmes have been planned and will be delivered in line with government guidelines. For more information, please visit: wearencs.com/keep-doing-good.
There is no cost to take part in Keep Doing Good this Summer, and they are asking young people to pledge just 16 hours of their time – but, of course they can volunteer more than this! All Year 11 students are able to register their interest and sign up for Keep Doing Good via our website: wearencs.com/sign-up-to-ncs. Volunteering opportunities will begin from 27th July onwards.
