Golden Ticket Winner from Year 9!
Churchill Community College has over the past 5 weeks been running a "Golden Ticket" competition. Each student was given a "Golden Ticket" to collect 25 merit stamps in College for attainment, behaviour, effort, attendance and care and consideration for others. Once their card was full, they handed in their "Golden Tickets" for entry into the draw to win a mountain bike.
The draw took place on Thursday 22nd October 2009 (which was also non-uniform day - wear something pink, held to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness). The lucky winner of the mountain bike was a Year 9 student, who was presented with his prize by Mrs G Allen - College Business Manager and Mrs J Ward - Year 9 Learning Co-ordinator.
