We know this time is a little bit scary and some of you might feel lost or isolated on the journey ahead. Don’t worry – we are here to help! Use this time wisely and don’t be afraid to get in touch.

It isn’t too late! You can apply to Churchill by emailing jill.teale@churchillcc.org or through our school website.

If you want to apply for a place at college, we can help with that too. You can email careers@churchillcc.org where we can put you in contact with the right person at colleges in the area.

That’s fine- education isn’t for everyone! Have you explored apprenticeships? You can have a look here: gov.uk/apply-apprenticeship or speak to one of our careers team for more information and advice.

Rest assured, our staff are going to make sure you receive the results you deserve. The Government has issued clear guidance we are working to.

Our assessment procedures are robust so we’ve got the evidence to back up what we say, and your class teachers will be involved in the whole process.

All colleges, training and apprenticeship providers are aware of the situation and the whole country is in the same boat. They won’t hold this against you.

There’s loads out there to keep you busy and active during this time:

  • Exercise daily
  • Look on org for Moocs linked to your next stage in education
  • Build a CV or LinkedIn Profile
  • Visit a virtual museum or catch a stage performance online
  • Stay in touch! Facetime, social media and talk to your friends online
  • How about a part time job? Local supermarkets are actively recruiting in our area!
