Churchill students did once again in style!

The Bakeathon chefs (including Headteacher David Baldwin) baked 4002 cakes, selling them to North Tyneside Council Headquarters at the Quadrant, The Langdale Centre, Northumbria Police at Silverlink, and all of our feeder primary schools. We're not sure of the final total but we'll let you know as soon as we do.

101 of our students dressed as dalmations to raise money for Children In Need, with our very own Miss Bruce dressing as Cruella De Ville.

If they weren't baking or covered in black spots, they dressed as Disney Characters for the day. Each student paid £1.00 to Children in Need to dress as their favourite Disney Character.

A big thank you goes to all of the students, parents for their support and everyone who bought cakes.

A special thanks to Miss Bruce and Mrs Turnbull for organising the Bakeathon event, and all of the staff who baked some rather tasty cakes.
